Rachel Minjeong Lee

I’m Rachel Minjeong Lee, a fashion designer originally from Seoul, Korea, currently based in New York. I hold a BFA in Fashion Design with a concentration in Knitwear from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). With a strong technical background in draping, knitting, and patternmaking, I specialize in creating contemporary women's wear with a focus on innovative textile development.

I am proficient in industry-standard software, including the Stoll M1 Plus program for knitwear programming, as well as Kaledo Weave and Kaledo Print for woven and print design. My professional experience spans esteemed fashion houses such as Chanel, KIMHEKIM, Danielle Guizio, and Son Jung Wan, where I contributed to runway collections, New York Fashion Week presentations, and brand marketing initiatives. I am dedicated to designing garments that seamlessly integrate aesthetic expression with functionality and craftsmanship.
